Questions
Does the Excel delivery challan work in Google Sheets?
Yes. Upload the .xlsx to Drive and open it with Sheets — the formulas carry across, and so do the borders. Print settings do not always survive the conversion, so check File → Print and set the paper to A4 before printing from Sheets.
How do I add more item rows to the Excel challan?
Insert a row inside the existing table rather than below it, then copy the formula down from the row above. Inserting inside means the total's SUM range stretches to include it automatically; adding a row underneath the total leaves it outside the range and the new line silently will not count.
Can I remove the GST columns from the Excel challan?
Yes — delete the HSN, Rate and Taxable value columns for a movement that carries no value. If you do, also delete the total row, or it will point at columns that no longer exist. The Rate & taxable value toggle on this page does the same thing before you download.
Is the excel free to download?
Yes. Excel download without a sign-up, an email address or a watermark. You can also put your own business name and GSTIN on it from the panel beside the document and print that — nothing you type is uploaded anywhere.
Can I change what is on this delivery challan?
Yes. The panel beside the document adds and drops blocks — letterhead, e-way bill row, reason for transportation, signatures — and switches paper size, language and the number of item rows. Whatever the document shows is what downloads.
