What it does

Five modules a fleet owner actually uses.

Each one closes a specific leak. Each one ships in the same product. Recovery figures below are calibrated for a typical 5-truck Indian fleet — your numbers will move with fleet size.

01 · Trip-sheet OCR

Photograph it. Done.

Hand the driver the same paper trip sheet he's always filled in Tamil. At the day's end, snap it. Fleetbooks reads the date, vehicle, driver, pickup, drop, material, weight in tons, rate per ton, odometer, shed commission, loading and weighbridge — and writes the trip to your books.

Saves ~10 hours / week of typing reclaimed across a 5-truck fleet. Zero typos.

02 · Fleet Intelligence

EMI target vs actual EBITDA. Every morning.

The Revenue Pulse line shows today's burn against the EMI breakeven. The cumulative EBITDA chart shows each truck's contribution against the cycle target. One look at 7 AM tells you whether this month covers the loan, or whether you push three extra trips this week.

Saves 5 of 8 customer fleets hit EMI breakeven before the 25th of the cycle.

03 · GPS reconciliation

What the trip sheet says vs what the truck actually drove.

Every leg of every trip matched against the GPS trail. Loaded, unloaded, stopped, idling — each stop timed and measured. When the trip sheet says 292 km and GPS says 340 km, the 48 km of unaccounted diesel is on your screen the same day.

Saves ₹75K–1.25L / year recovered in unaccounted diesel · 5-truck fleet (₹15–25K per truck).

04 · Driver economics

Senthil vs Kumar, in rupees.

Profit per active day. Average days per trip. Utilisation %. Total kilometres driven by P&L cycle. Two drivers, the same truck — and the numbers tell you which one is running profitable kilometres and which one is parking the truck on bata.

Saves Utilisation 45% → 70%. ₹5–15L / year reclaimed on idle truck days · 5-truck fleet.

05 · Per-trip P&L

Every trip's real margin.

Every trip's fare, fuel, driver bata, shed commission, loading and weighbridge flows into the monthly statement automatically. Revenue, gross margin, EBITDA, finance costs, profit after finance — every line drillable to the trip that produced it. Last cycle for one customer fleet: ₹3.0L revenue, 28.6% margin, ₹86.7K EBITDA, three-month comparison visible.

Saves ₹5–10L / year in loss-making routes flagged before the third trip · 5-truck fleet.

Honest comparison

Different category. Different problem solved.

BlackBuck and Fr8 find loads. WheelsEye tracks GPS. None of them give you per-trip P&L, EMI vs EBITDA, or the operations layer. We complement them — your trucks can still use BlackBuck or WheelsEye while Fleetbooks runs the back office.

FAQ

Questions fleet owners ask before they sign up.

Different question? WhatsApp →

What is Fleetbooks?

+

Fleetbooks is the intelligence and operations app for Indian fleet operators. Per-trip P&L with margin flagging, daily EMI vs EBITDA, monthly statement — plus trip sheets (handwritten OCR in every Indian language), GPS reconciliation, e-challan tracking, permit reminders, driver bata payouts. Seven AI agents run in the background.

How does the trip-sheet OCR work?

+

You photograph the trip sheet on your phone. Fleetbooks reads the vernacular fields — date, vehicle, driver, pickup, drop, material, weight in tons, rate per ton, odometer start and end, shed commission, loading and unloading charges, weighbridge — and creates a structured trip record. You confirm and save in roughly 10 seconds. Handwritten Tamil and Hindi are supported today; other Indian languages roll out on request.

How does GPS reconciliation work?

+

Fleetbooks ingests GPS feeds from common Indian tracker brands. Each trip is matched stop by stop to the GPS trail. You see loaded, unloaded, stopped and idling time, and the actual kilometres driven versus what the driver reported. Unaccounted kilometres surface as fuel-theft alerts the same day.

How is Fleetbooks different from BlackBuck, Fr8, or WheelsEye?

+

BlackBuck and Fr8 are load-matching and freight-payment platforms — they help you find loads and settle payments. WheelsEye is a GPS-and-telematics platform. None of them produce a per-trip P&L, daily EMI vs EBITDA, or the operations modules (e-challans, permits, driver bata). Fleetbooks complements them: keep BlackBuck/Fr8 for load discovery, keep WheelsEye for GPS, run Fleetbooks for everything else.

Does Fleetbooks handle EMI tracking and finance costs?

+

Yes. Term-loan interest per truck appears in the Expenses module, flows into Finance Costs in the P&L, and the Fleet Intelligence chart plots your daily EMI burn target against actual cumulative EBITDA for the running cycle.

How much does Fleetbooks cost in INR?

+

The first truck is free, forever. The Fleet plan is ₹499 per truck per month for 2–20 trucks; GST extra. The Transporter plan is custom for 20+ trucks. No setup fee. No annual lock-in.

Where is Fleetbooks data hosted?

+

On Indian infrastructure. Your fleet data is yours; we do not sell it, do not share it with insurers or lenders, and you can export everything at any time.
