Fleetbooks

Hardware · Data ingestion · Built for Indian fleets

Your GPS. Ours. Or both.

Buy the Fleetbooks GPS for native trip-sheet reconciliation, or keep the GPS you already pay for and share us the data dump. Per-trip kilometre matching, fuel-theft alerts, and driver utilisation work the same way either path.

₹3,499 one-time per unit · ₹149 / month SIM data (optional) · GST extra · 1-year hardware warranty + lifetime software updates.

Two paths to the same dashboard

We don't care whose GPS you have. We care that the data flows.

Path A

Buy our GPS

Native integration. Anti-tamper. Industry-leading GPS module.

One-time hardware cost, install in 10 minutes, then it just works. Every trip from day one is reconciled against the GPS automatically. No CSV imports, no daily sync, no integration headaches.

Path B

Bring your own GPS data

Already on WheelsEye, Vamosys, Onelap, or OEM telematics? Keep it.

Share a CSV / KML / API export from whatever GPS you already pay for. We ingest the data dump and merge it with your Fleetbooks trip sheets the same way our own GPS data flows. No double-tracking, no double-billing.

What you see, with GPS connected

Six things become visible. Six leaks stop hiding.

Per-trip km reconciliation

Trip-sheet kilometres matched to actual GPS distance, stop by stop. The 48 km of unaccounted diesel surfaces the same day.

Fuel-theft alerts

GPS distance × your truck's ₹/km diesel rate vs the trip-sheet diesel entry. Anomaly badge fires when the gap exceeds your threshold.

Loaded / unloaded / idle

Each stop classified using load + GPS + sheet context. Idle time at the shed shows up as bata loss, not GPS noise.

Route deviation

If the driver went 60 km off the typical Thanjavur → Madurai route, you see it on the map before the next dispatch.

Driver utilisation

Active km vs parked km, per driver, per cycle. Feeds straight into the driver economics dashboard.

Tamper & disconnect alerts

If the unit is unplugged, loses power, or the vehicle is tampered with, you get an immediate alert — the anti-tamper behaviour Indian fleets actually need.

The hardware

Fleetbooks GPS.

Our software bundled with an industry-leading GPS module — built for Indian trucking: dusty cabs, 45°C summers, inconsistent power, occasional driver tampering. Pre-paired to the platform, so every trip reconciles from day one.

Already on another GPS?

We integrate the GPS you already have.

If your tracker exposes an API or can export CSV, KML, or Excel — which covers nearly every provider — we integrate it. Common ones are below. Anything else, send a sample export to hello@fleetbooks.in and we wire it up, usually within a week.

New providers added on request — usually within a week.

FAQ

Questions before you order.

Different question? WhatsApp →

How much does the GPS hardware cost?

+

₹3,499 per unit, one-time. ₹149 per month per unit for the SIM data plan if you use our SIM; you can also bring your own SIM and pay nothing on that line. Hardware comes with 1-year hardware warranty + lifetime software updates. (Prices subject to GST. Bulk orders 5+ units priced individually.)

Do I have to buy your GPS to use Fleetbooks?

+

No. Path B is the equally-supported option — keep your existing GPS (WheelsEye, Vamosys, Onelap, Atlanta, Tata Fleetman, Eicher Fox, etc.) and share us a data dump. We ingest it the same way our own hardware feeds into the platform. The per-trip P&L, anomaly badges and fuel-theft alerts all work either way.

Which GPS providers can you integrate?

+

Any tracker that exposes an API or can export CSV, KML, or Excel — which covers nearly every provider. Common ones include WheelsEye, Vamosys, Onelap, Atlanta Systems, Tata Fleetman, and Eicher Fox. If your provider isn't listed, send a sample export at hello@fleetbooks.in and we wire it up, usually within a week.

How is the data dump shared?

+

Three options. (1) You email / WhatsApp us a CSV / KML export, we run a one-time backfill. (2) You set up a scheduled CSV export to a shared Google Drive or Dropbox folder, we sync nightly. (3) If your provider has an API, we set up direct ingestion. Most customers pick option 1 for testing, then move to option 2 or 3 for production.

What if I have GPS from the truck OEM (Tata, Eicher, Ashok Leyland)?

+

OEM telematics dashboards typically support a CSV / Excel export by date range. Send us the export; we treat it identically to third-party GPS data. The reconciliation runs against the trip sheet the same way.

How long does installation take?

+

About 10 minutes per truck. We connect to power + ignition, route the antenna, mount the unit, pair to the platform via a QR code. Either DIY with our install guide, or we send a field technician for an extra ₹500 per truck in covered cities (Thanjavur, Trichy, Coimbatore, Salem, Madurai, Erode, Bangalore, Hyderabad).
